At Welcome Home, my mission is to empower you to be in charge of your health and wellness. I chose the words 'welcome home' because often I find my clients have struggled to feel at home inside a body that is not functioning optimally, or that they perceive is letting them down. When we have pain or dysfunction we often create boundaries within and become overwhelmed when we don't feel in control of what's happening. My goal is to help you break down those barriers to healing and create more harmony and empowerment so you can make progress toward your optimal vision of health. This takes time, patience and trust. As your coach I see you, my client, as a whole person with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. I am honored to listen to your story and to work along side you as we navigate this journey of healing together.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share my experience in support of Kenna's efforts to broaden her impact and reach more women with her message of positivity toward our bodies and our ability to heal and reconcile the most intimate parts of our lives.
After many years of misunderstanding my symptoms, I reached out to Kenna in late 2023 for help in addressing regular and life-disrupting discomfort in my pelvic region. My hope was to avoid a suggested surgical procedure that might accomplish the same thing. Kenna brought her sound, science-based approach to my issues - along with her passion for body awareness and appreciation. I learned I was experiencing spasms that caused a chronic bladder condition to flare up, mimicking a UTI or cramps (even though I am post menopausal). Kenna gave me the knowledge, awareness, and tools to stop the muscle spasms and use my pelvic muscles correctly in my daily activities. The outcome has been a steady decrease of days of discomfort, a clear path to restore my body to a happy, relaxed state, and a liberation from worry about negative impacts from things I love - like exercise, travel, and intimacy.

I am no stranger to physical therapy having been extremely active in sports my entire life. Like many, this level of engagement led to multiple injuries with corresponding surgeries. All were successful in part to the skilled surgeons and physical therapist that assisted me in the rehabilitation process. All the physical therapists were good...and some very good. Then, I was faced with a different challenge. A prostatectomy. A departure from my previous surgeries, I met with Kenna approximately one month before the surgery. Kenna first educated me with models and diagrams of exactly what anatomical areas would be impacted and why. She then explained the resulting side effects of that surgery, leaving me completely informed of what to expect. From there she outlined a comprehensive set of exercises to mitigate these side effects and return me to normalcy by restoring the strength and function of my pelvic floor. Her direction and guidance prior to the surgery was outstanding. I adhered exactly to her exercise regimen for that month and entered surgery very prepared with a strong pelvic floor. Post surgery, she monitored my progress and accelerated same with additional exercises. As a result my recovery has been rapid and successful. Her significant professional expertise was always combined with a friendly and very caring personality. As mentioned, all physical therapists in the past were quite good. In Kenna's case her skill level requires another category. Elite.
